Camp Wrap and Tiger

Tiger!!! I am usually a huge supporter of the underdog. I love the 15 seed that gives the 2 seed all they can handle in the NCAA tournament, I loved that Appy State beat Michigan, I love when the Yankees or Red Sox lose, I love the 34-1 longshot that wins the Belmont. All of this means nothing when it comes to golf. If Tiger isn't playing, I'm not watching. Today Tiger won his 14th major in a playoff against Rocco Mediate. Rocco is the definition of an underdog, going up against the best golfer ever. And I sat here and held my breath on every Tiger putt waiting to see him win again.

You may ask why I was able to watch Tiger today? Why wasn't I in the office working? Well, I had camp last week. And while I don't know exactly how many hours I worked last week, I do know that sometime during my 16 hour Saturday, I decided I could probably take a day or two off this week. Done and Done.

Camp was great. Individual camp was exhausting, but definitely worth it. The kids were great and our coaches worked extremely hard. We have some girls that are going to make great coaches down the road. Krislyn in particular did an outstanding job running our shooting station the first 3 days of camp. Now, Krislyn is the same girl that had to talk her way through a drop step during practice this season! Didn't phase her one bit to run 30 kids through a shooting practice and do it well!

Everyone else did an amazing job and I'm not going to name everyone, but without the effort of our coaches, camp would have been a complete failure. Thanks everyone!
